Because of computerization of each and every data and fall in the prizes of laptops, laptops here onwards will not be considered as a part of technocrats and rich people. Now middle class people can purchase laptops. Here we will see about Sony's NR series laptops.

Sony has changed its agenda now. Now, you can purchase Sony's electronic components without exceeding your budget. The new NR series is at the cost of $900. The VGN-NR160E/S provides consumers the Core 2 Duo feature at $829. The NR Series is available in three colors- Granite, Wenge, and Silk. The 6.2-pound body has fine textures on the lid and keyboard body and has fillet edges. It is somewhat similar to the Apple's Mac Book Pro. But NR series features 15.4 inch LCD at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

The keyboard is spacious and durable. There are two buttons above the keyboard: an S1 multi purpose, programmable key, which can be set through a pop-up window in tool bar and an AV Mode button. Four USB ports, memory card slots for memory sticks and SD cards are provided around the edges. At a fairly low price, you get a 1.5 GHz Core 2 Duo processor with 667 MHz FSB and 2MB cache and 1GB DDR2 RAM.

You won't face any problem in multitasking e.g. you are watching a DVD, browsing the Internet and booting up Paint Shop Pro simultaneously. The hard disc is a 160GB, 5,400-rpm SATA drive to avail plenty of space for your documents and multimedia.
